Free tools from PHD virtual
In one of my last articles I wrote about PHD Virtual’s esXpress there were some great free tools I found about on the PHD Virtual’s website. Sho why not tho share this with you guys..
Virtual SAN 1.0.0 – It’s a virtual SAN appliance for VMware ESX 3 Server. It uses the local disks which are not used to facilitate enterprise-level features such as vMotion, DRS and HA.
SnapHunter 0.5.3 – ( For ESX 3) – it is a service console tool which gives you the possibility to have a reports of VMs snapshots from multiple ESX Servers.
KS QuickConfig 1.3.0 - Windows GUI tool which is usefull when you deploy and configure several configurations which are identical (for Mware ESX 3 servers).
Patch Downloader 6.00 – As you might guess, Patch Downloader is able to automate the downloading of patches for various ESX versions from the VMware site. Might be a great alternative of VMware update manager, if you don’t have vCenter Server installed.
VMNetBac 1.2.0 – This tool allows you to backup and restore the network configuration of a virtual machine. By using this tool you’ll be able to quick save the necessary configuration before upgrading your VMs to a different hardware version.
