How-to create VMs if you are on a budget
If you are on a budget and you cannot aford to buy VMware Workstation (I’ll give you 10% discount if you buy through this link) , you can still use VMware Player. But with VMware player, you are not able to create a Virtual Machine. What to do? You have 2 possibilities (which I know).
1.) You can go and create your VMX file (it’s a configuration file which you’ll need for use with VMware Player) online at Easyvmx.com
2.) You can download a tool provided by Robert Petruska, which will give you the possibility to create (or modify) the VMX files.
