Send files to Dropbox with right click
In case you’re Dropbox user read on.
If not, see my article about Dropbox and online storage here. Right now with Dropbox you cannot sync files which are outside of the main Dropbox folder. To enable the sync you must put your file or folder into the main Dropbox sync folder to activate the sync process.
A nice little trick I found on the web which enables right-click in Windows Explorer to send any file directly to Dropbox folder.
Here is how to do it:
01. First copy paste the following code to your windows Explorer window.
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

02. Then you right click into the right pane of window explore and choose new shortcut.

03. In the window which opens just paste your Dropbox path. In my case it’s “C:\Users\vseget\Documents\My Dropbox”
And click next to confirm. As you can see, now when you right-click any image(s) or file(s) on your desktop, you have the possibility to send it directly to your Dropbox public folder.

In case you want more functionality (not only copy) with right click, you can download Dropbox Shell which is a handy little utility for Windows and which creates completely new dropbox menu within the right click menu and which has more possibilities, like move etc….
