Trilead VM explorer compatible vSphere 4.0 too

Trileads tool for exploring (and backing up) your Virtual Infrastructure is now compatible vSphere 4.0. VM Explorer is a cool little application which is able to browse copy/paste/backup your Virtual Infrastructure’s VM’s with the possibility of scheduled backups (in paid version). It’s one of my favourite Top 10 freeware tools to manage your Virtual Infrastructure based on VMware ESX Server and vSphere. You cannot restore individual files. Trilead is a Swiss company.
You can use this tool without buying the paid version, there is few things that are missing though. It’s a good choice though if you don’t need:
- Backup from ESX 3i/4i to ESX (SAN or local storage), Linux or FreeBSD
- Task Scheduler
- Migrate (clone) VMs from ESX 3.0.X/3.5 to ESX 3i/4i
- Daily Report via E-Mail
- Password protect configuration
- You can manage Maximum 5 Devices (ESX/Linux/FreeBSD host servers)
