vCloud Express by VMware
Running your infrastructure in the cloud.
What is it? For now, the service is still in BETA. You pay for using a server, which is located in service provider’s datacenter. And basically you pay per hour. You for example can choose to create and deploy VM from list of OS availables etc..
It’s coming, the service for the enterprise. I wonder if there would be a packages where it would be possible for a specialized enterprise to provide a services like this for their clients. I mean if there would be a standardized packages deployable that would create a default website for example, which would be then accessible for my clients etc… Let’s see.
* Create virtual machines as needed
* Add capacity with the click of a button
* vApp containers allow you to group your VMs together
Pay as you go
* Pay only for what you use
* Metered billing for CPU, RAM, network bandwidth, storage & licensing.
