Veeam has announced Veeam Sharepoint Explorer feature to be present in the upcoming version of Veeam Backup & Replication. Cool Feature for Sharepoint admins, which will be present in the upcoming V7 of Veeam Backup & Replication.
The Sharepoint Explorer brings the possibility to navigate through Sharepoint DB and restore directly documents from there, or send those to your coworkers. There is a video I wanted to share with you, my readers.
In the video below you'll see how it works:
- Connect to a desired Sharepoint DB in one of your backup files
- Navigate to the desired tree and open (or right click) the document
- Restore to desired location OR send it to a recipient
