New update for VMware Workstation. A Free Update of VMware Workstation 12.1. Free update for existing Workstation 12 users only. Released fixes bugs only. It's however fixing bugs which were causing issues in the latest Windows 10 version 1511 release (VMtools issues, unity issues or shared folder issues). Also problems with recognizing the ISO of Windows 10 which was leeding to picking up Windows server 2012 r2 image instead.
Note that if you're not installing the enhanced keyboard support, you don't need to reboot your system. The installer takes care of the update. I have reported in details about new version of VMware Workstation 12 in my post here. Especially the 4K monitor support might be usefull as more and more folks buying 4k displays.
