VMware Fusion 4.1 update released.
This Release is free update for VMware Fusion 4.0 users. Some new functionalities has been added and some great enhancements for Windows 7 VMs. Not long time ago – about 2 months, the VMware Fusion 4 has been released and I reported on that here.
Automatic power On of favorite VMs is back again – This feature was removed in the version 4.0, but it's back now, so is possible to configure your favorite VMs which are able to be powered on automatically.
Where to configure it? In every VM that you want to, just go to Settings > General.
To implement this update, just download and install. Make sure to update the VMware Tools inside each of your VMs afterwards as well.
Greatly improved graphics performance for Internet Explorer 9 – hardware accelerated graphics are up to 6x faster than VMware Fusion 4.
– Improved rendering correctness in Solidworks 2012.
– Improved graphics performance when using Mac OS X 10.7.2.
– Improved animations for full screen mode, unity mode, library and snapshots.
– Improved startup time with Windows 7 virtual machines.
