I'll try to collect in this article some best, and coolest videos of products presented during VMworld 2012 in San Francisco. One of the first innovative products which took my attention was VMware Mirage. An upcoming product which will be able to manage user's profile (with data) from central location. Very storage efficient by using deduplication to store files, the solution can be helpful while migrating users from XP to 7 for example. Cut's down about 95 % off the traffic on the WAN that would normally occur.
Or in case of failure of hardware (laptop's hard drive, or the full laptop problem), the data stored on remote server, can get injected into the user's new PC or laptop.
Also there is a possibility to slipstream new application to existing image. The IT admin can basically decide to replace the existing image while users are working, and after a reboot they'll find new application present.
You can also restore laptop managed by Mirage to a VM and after you can access that VM (managed by VMware View) from a tablet, MAC, Linux or any other device which has VMware View client installed.

He basically explains on how the Horizon Mobile works for the end user and also how the VMware admin can manage the applications present in the user's device by using the Horizon Mobile Manager. Note the copy paste operations from the corporate workspace are not permitted.
